Brief Description
NGO BRIT focuses on sustainable development, innovation, and technology. Our mission is to foster public participation in innovative policy-making and promote education in sustainable development. Major achievements include the ongoing New Energy Science City project (an educational center in sustainable development operating for 8 years, utilizing play-based learning), and the successful implementation of energy efficiency policies in Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi through international collaborations. In 2023, we completed a cross-border project, sharing our expertise with the European city of Botoșani, where a similar center was established.
Role in the U_CAN Project
In the U-CAN project, NGO BRIT leads the implementation of climate-neutral initiatives in Ivano-Frankivsk. Our key tasks include installing photovoltaic systems, conducting capacity-building workshops, and integrating project outcomes into strategic city plans. We contribute expertise in sustainable development, renewable energy technologies, and community engagement. Our resources include technical experts, strong local partnerships, and a dedicated venue for project activities.
