Partnering Mission Cities

Collaborating for Climate Neutrality

In an era where climate neutrality is a global priority, the collaboration between Mission Cities and Ukrainian Pilot Cities under the U_CAN project demonstrates the power of international partnerships. This initiative fosters knowledge exchange, capacity-building, and innovative strategies to accelerate the transition to sustainable urban environments.

By connecting Mission Cities with their Ukrainian counterparts, the project creates a platform for addressing shared urban challenges, co-developing strategies, and implementing effective solutions. These partnerships combine international best practices with localized actions to achieve ambitious climate goals.

Through twinning activities, Mission Cities offer expertise in areas such as energy efficiency, digital transformation, resilient planning, and sustainable transport. Ukrainian pilot cities receive tailored guidance to enhance their capacity for achieving climate neutrality.

This collaboration underscores the importance of cross-border cooperation in driving meaningful change, demonstrating how global efforts can empower local communities on their path to resilience and sustainability.
