Brief Description

ECSA is a membership organisation with goals to increase the democratisation of science, encourage the growth of citizen science in Europe, and support the participation of the general public in research processes. Our mission is to make science and research open, accessible and valuable for everyone. With 18 active projects in 36 countries, ECSA´s areas of expertise include citizen engagement, dissemination, communication and engagement strategies, education and training, coordination, impact assessment, strategic networking and stakeholder engagement.

Role in the U_CAN Project

ECSA´s role is to ensure widespread communication, dissemination and exploitation of U_CAN findings among the European and Ukrainian stakeholders and support the realisation of the EGD. We will collaborate with all project partners, establish effective communication channels to ensure regular updates about project progress and achievements, provide a roadmap to empower climate action collaboration for the Ukrainian cities. Our role is to bridge citizens and policymakers to facilitate knowledge exchange.
