About the Event
Central Europe’s Path to Resilient and Sustainable Energy Security
How can Central Europe ensure resilient and sustainable energy security in a rapidly changing geopolitical landscape? This critical question will take centre stage at the Central European Energy Conference, and the U_CAN project is proud to contribute to the discussion.
Organised by the Slovak Foreign Policy Association, a member of the U_CAN project consortium, this conference will bring together policymakers, experts, and practitioners to explore the key challenges shaping the evolving energy landscape of Central Europe.
We warmly invite stakeholders and interested participants to join us for three days of critical discussions and collaborative problem-solving from 25–27 November 2025 in Bratislava, Slovakia. U_CAN representatives will feature prominently in the programme, sharing insights from our latest research:
· Parallel Roundtable IV – Climate governance and citizen participation for sustainable cities of the future
· Parallel Roundtable VI – Municipal and regional strategies for a circular future
Each roundtable will be conducted in an interactive, workshop-style format, offering participants the opportunity to exchange ideas, explore synergies, and co-create pathways towards sustainable, climate-resilient urban energy systems. Translation into Ukrainian will be provided.
