Interactive Map of “Climate Neutrality”-Oriented Initiatives in Ukraine

The “Climate Neutrality”-Oriented Initiatives are recent projects, programmes or other formalised activities implemented in Ukraine (not earlier than 2020) that are either directly focused on or could contribute to achieving climate neutrality at the city, regional, or national leve

What is the purpose of mapping?

The map visualises the initiatives geographically across Ukraine, allowing users to explore projects based on their location, status, and sector. By presenting this information in an interactive and user-friendly format, the map serves as a useful resource for policymakers, researchers, NGOs, and other stakeholders involved in climate action.

The objectives of this mapping are to:

  • Highlight Ukrainian Initiatives: Provide visibility to national and European-level efforts invested in Ukraine to achieve climate neutrality, thereby recognising and promoting various stakeholders.

  • Facilitate Matchmaking: Enable organisations engaged in climate neutrality efforts to identify and connect with potential partners, fostering collaborations that can lead to the initiation of new projects and the scaling of existing ones.

  • Enable Synergies: Promote strategic planning and optimal resource allocation by identifying and linking completed and ongoing initiatives, including those funded by the European Commission.

How to use the map?
