Brief Description
The WISSENSARCHITEKTUR - Lab of Knowledge Architecture is dedicated to exploring socio-spatial environments that foster knowledge and innovation in a global knowledge society. Our mission is to develop and teach co-creation methodologies and support innovation through interdisciplinary research. Major achievements include the successful execution of the EU Horizon2020 U_CODE project and the pioneering MODEL PROJECT SMART CITY DRESDEN and ZUKUNFTSSTADT DRESDEN initiatives, which have significantly contributed to smart city research, urban development and participatory planning.
Role in the U_CAN Project
As Lead partner of U_CAN project, TUD will ensure overall project management, monitoring progress against deliverables with ethical standards. TUD will also lead the study on citizen participation in local climate governance, analyzing practices, identifying barriers, and proposing enhancements. Additionally, TUD will consolidate success stories and best practices into a U_CAN Highlights report, disseminating findings through various channels including scientific publications, conferences, and the project website. Key competencies include project management, ethical compliance, expertise in citizen engagement and comprehensive project highlight reports.
