Role in the U_CAN Project
In the U-CAN project, our organization plays the role of coordinator for technology modernization and standardisation initiatives. We bring our expertise in the development and implementation of post-disaster reconstruction strategies (procedures for reuse of war demolition materials, renovation/energy retrofit protocols, nature-based solutions for the mitigation of urban vulnerability). Our research is supported by a network of laboratories engaged in the urban and environmental sustainability. The different areas of expertise are coordinated by the five members listed below but the team is composed of 13 people.
