Capacity building of young scientist generation in energy security and climate neutrality

We are pleased to report that the Intensive Training Course on Energy Security and Climate Neutrality is currently underway from October 8-16, 2024, at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. This significant event is organized by the Scientific Association of Mechanical Engineering (Hungary) in partnership with the U_CAN partner – Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. It brings together 50 young scientists from NATO and non-NATO countries to explore critical issues related to environmental, energy, and transport safety.  

 

Key Highlights:


• Expert Presentations: The course features 15 prominent speakers from various countries, sharing their expertise on urgent topics impacting global energy and environmental policies.

• Collaborative Discussions: Participants are engaged in dynamic panel discussions aimed at formulating effective solutions to contemporary challenges in their respective fields.

• Empowering Future Leaders: This initiative is essential for equipping the next generation of scientists with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the pressing challenges of climate change and energy security.
