U_CAN Project Showcased at Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona

Updated: Dec 18, 2024

From November 5 to 7, the U_CAN Project took center stage at the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona, thanks to the efforts of the U_CAN Coordinator, the Laboratory of Knowledge Architecture (WISSENSARCHITEKTUR) at the Technical University of Dresden, and its partner, the Digital City Science unit of HafenCity University in Hamburg. This global event, dedicated to urban innovation and smart city solutions, provided an ideal platform for U_CAN to reach an international audience.

Dr. Paul Raphael Stadelhofer, representing U_CAN, actively engaged with visitors, presenting the project's vision for sustainable urban development and encouraging participants to join the U_CAN Network of External Partners. This network aims to connect forward-thinking organizations and individuals who are dedicated to advancing climate-neutral and sustainable cities, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange across borders.

The event was a valuable opportunity to showcase U_CAN’s goals and broaden the project's collaborative base, driving momentum for a greener, more resilient urban future.
